Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 12, 2026
This policy applies to the bulkup iOS app and this website. The short version: bulkup does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data, and this website doesn't either.
Data we collect
None. bulkup has no account system, no cloud sync, no analytics, no advertising identifiers, and no third-party SDKs. The app makes no network requests with your data, and we have no servers to send it to.
Data stored on your device
To work as a training log, bulkup stores the following locally on your device:
- Your routines and training splits
- Logged sessions, exercises, sets, weights, and reps
- Body weight entries, if you record them
- App preferences (units, rest timer defaults, and similar settings)
This data never leaves your phone unless you explicitly export or share it.
Apple Health (HealthKit)
Connecting Apple Health is optional. If you enable it, bulkup only writes completed workouts to Apple Health as strength training sessions with estimated active calories. bulkup never reads any data from Apple Health, and HealthKit data is never used for advertising or shared with third parties. You can revoke this permission at any time in the Health app under Sharing → Apps.
Notifications
If you allow notifications, bulkup schedules local notifications on your device (for example, when a rest timer finishes). These are generated entirely on-device — no push servers are involved.
Sharing and export
When you generate a shareable session card or export your training history as JSON, that content is created on-device and handed to the iOS share sheet. Where it goes from there is entirely your choice; bulkup never sends it anywhere on its own.
This website
This website is a static page. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and uses no tracking of any kind.
Children's privacy
bulkup does not collect personal data from anyone, including children. There is nothing to collect.
Data deletion
Deleting the app deletes all of its data. There is no server-side copy to request removal from. Workouts written to Apple Health can be deleted separately in the Health app.
Changes to this policy
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date. Since bulkup collects nothing, any change would most likely be to add clarity, not collection.
